hello

hey there, just call me shrimp. I'm a 22 year old queer guy that lives in Canada. I used to be an art school kid but turned to CS... just because. I am still very much an artist though, and there's an art page for that on the left if you're interested.

I've been making art since I was small, but I only seriously tried to improve it during covid lockdown. I studied painting with a teacher and he taught me lots and lots of stuff over the span of around 2 years. I look up to the dutch masters a lot, especially Rembrandt which really influenced my style throughout my works. my favorite painting is The Nightwatch! I don't limit myself to only paint though, pixel art has been a cool form of art for me to do, almost all the assets on this website are made by me (except for the gifs and stamps)

I do also dabble in a little bit of everything craft wise when I take interests in them, like making things out of clay paper or cardboard boxes, making some props out of foam for my cosplay, and I even tried 3D modeling (which admittedly I havent gotten very far, YET).

I play bideo games. current favorite game is Balatro (i WILL get that 100% on steam). I also like rhythm games a lot, my music playlists are basically 80% rhythm game music. my all time favorite song is Aphasia by Team Grimoire, I put it on the right so you WILL check it out ;) I play the piano and bass, though I'm not very good at them
